Emby by Stephen – How to Connect

This page shows how to connect to my Emby server using a manual connection on phones, tablets, TVs, and web browsers.

📡 Server Details

Use these exact settings whenever you connect manually:

  • Server Address (URL): https://emby.sb101985.synology.me
  • Hostname (if asked): https://emby.sb101985.synology.me
  • Port: 443
  • Secure Connection / HTTPS / SSL: ON

If the app gives you separate boxes for Host and Port, put https://emby.sb101985.synology.me in Host, 443 in Port, and enable any toggle that says HTTPS, SSL, or Secure connection.

💻 Web Browser (Easiest Way)

The simplest way to use Emby is in a browser on your computer, phone, or tablet.

  1. Open your favorite browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
  2. Go to: https://emby.sb101985.synology.me
  3. If you see a login screen, sign in with the username/password I gave you.
  4. Once logged in, you can browse and play Movies, TV, and other libraries.

If you ever get a security warning about the certificate, choose “Advanced” → “Proceed anyway” and let me know so I can double-check things on my side.
